My newest addition to the More Blogs page, under Writer's Tips, is Go Teen Writer. This website is created for teens, but even if you're not a teenager, there are so many great and useful articles in this website. The link from this website goes directly to a page that has a full list of articles on the site and the category that they are under. Go Teen Writer has a wealth of information for both new and seasoned authors.
So, I just discovered some great blogs and sites as I was looking through my favorite Pinterest boards on writing. These have many many helpful articles and tips from authors. I looked through quite a few of them myself and decided to recommend them!
I put the links under Writer's Tips. The page is entitled More Blogs! I've been working on my books, my passion for writing, this summer. But, I've also been doing a lot of my other favorite passion: web design. I just got back from Florida for Computer Science Camp As you may see from this website, I'm really in love with design. I've also been making some other sites and some content for sites. Terri Tidwell, from my church, is working on a beautiful website with the words that God has given her to share with others in it. The print-out pages that I have been working on for this site are below:
http://www.witnesshimnow.com/226258815 This is an amazing site and I look forward to how God will speak to others through Ms. Tidwell. This cover NOW is from my recent book Trespassing is my Game. I wrote it at the same time as my friend Laurel wrote hers. We read each others books constantly. :) This is one of my favorite covers I've made.
Just found an amazing site for readers. It's called onread.com, and it's fabulous. I've just started reading one of my favorite books on it. Onread.com is a whole library of online books on just about any topic. If you're looking for a cookbook, I'm sure they have it. :)
They have one of my favorite Anne of Green Gables books, Anne Of Avonlea! Whew! I just got finished with my fairytale. It now has a name, The Crestonian Dream, and I've edited it all I can. I'm probably still forgetting stuff. But anyway, it was getting hard towards "The End." I was glad to finally write those final words and be done with it. I had spend a loooooong time on that. That's no matter, though. I'm very glad I did it. Practice is what makes me better, and I want more than anything to get better!
Something I though of today:
If life sends you Writer's Blocks, build a leggo tower! - me |
