I was reading today in Laurie Campbell's amazing site about character types. In her article, "Creating Your Hero's Fatal Flaw," she lists nine different character types and the flaws that come with that type. I found the character types very believable and started to assign these types to my own characters. I found myself saying, "Yes! That's him!" to many different main characters of mine. Some were harder to assign. It definitely made me think deeper about my characters and how I had properly given them and developed in them a personality and temperament - or how I hadn't.
